Next Meeting
Our next, and probably final, meeting of this school year will be on Thursday, May 1st, an "A" day. The early lunch group is reading Proxy by Alex London and the late lunch group is reading Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas. We have ordered these titles and hope to have them in before spring break. Happy reading! Enjoy!

Final Meeting of This School Year
The final meeting of this school year will be on Thursday, May 23rd--a "B" day. This is our first time meeting on a Thursday, but we needed to stick with a B day for consistency and that is the day that works.
• Early Lunch will be reading The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. These books are on order; watch for updates when these come in.
• Late Lunch will be reading The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (we have read this in a previous year--it was well liked). We have copies of this book in the LMTC.
We will be sending our student leaders, Danielle Murphy and Brittany Legwold, off as they are seniors. We will miss them, but wish them the best in their future endeavors. If you have questions or comments, you can still ask Danielle Murphy, Brittany Legwold or me. Please feel free to make comments on the Book Club Blog, the Facebook page or face to face. Also, you can follow us on Twitter @WHSBookClub

March 2013 Meeting
Spring is just around the corner... The club has decided to read _I Never Promised You a Rose Garden_ by Joanne Greeberg for Early Lunch and Reader's Choice from this LIST for late lunch. Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, April 17th (a "B" day) in the LMTC. I think we have jumped out of our comfort zone with these selections. It will be interesting to know what you all think.

Winter Break, 2012
A great book club meeting today--thank you for joining us! You have decided that for next time you would like to read:
Early Lunch: The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex
Late Lunch: Your Choice--choose any book you would like to read and tell us about it when we meet after break
Our next meeting will be some time after finals; that means we will meet either in late January or early February. It will be on a Wednesday.
If you have questions or comments, you can ask Danielle Murphy, Brittany Legwold or me. Please feel free to make comments on this Blog, the Facebook page or face to face. Enjoy your time reading!

December 2012
The early lunch group has decided to read The Future of Us by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler (2 excellent writers!) AND Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Asher. What do you think?

And the decision is.... (drum beat)....
Thank you all for joining in today at the meetings! It was fun to meet a few new people and to find out what people have been reading over the summer. Betsy, the Waunakee Public librarian, joined us as well. OK, OK, so what did we pick? The first lunch group chose _Every Day_ by David Levithan and the second lunch group chose _Everneath_, by Brodi Ashton. I will soon post some photos of us. The books are on order and there will be an announcement when they arrive. Happy reading!
